The short version

• We collect only what's needed to run classes and issue certifications.
• We never sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers.
• We never store payment card numbers.
• Each customer's data is kept separate from every other customer's.

Who we are

CTC Manager is class-management software for CPR and first-aid instructors and training centers. Contact us at support@ctcmgr.com.

What we collect

• Account information for instructors, coordinators and administrators: name, username, email, phone, and the instructor IDs needed for certification cards.
• Student and class records entered by our customers or by students signing up for a class: name, contact details, the classes taken and their results.
• Demo requests sent through this website: the details you type into the form.
• Technical data: IP addresses and basic server logs, used for security and to prevent abuse.

How we use it

To run the service: scheduling classes, managing rosters, producing certification cards, letters and the files used to issue AHA eCards, and contacting you about your account. We don't use your data for advertising.

Who owns student and class data

The training center or instructor who uses CTC Manager is responsible for the student and class records they enter. We process those records on their behalf and only to provide the service. Students with questions about their records should contact their instructor or training center first, or email us.

Sharing

We share data only as needed to provide the service (for example, a training center may upload a roster to the American Heart Association to issue eCards), when the law requires it, or with your permission. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Security

Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Access inside each customer is limited by role, so instructors, coordinators and administrators see only what they're responsible for.

Retention

Certification records are kept while the customer's account is active, because training centers need class history to verify and renew certifications. When a customer leaves, we delete or return their data on request.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders.
